Mandel Bread

Using a recipe passed down from my great grandmother, this treat can be best described as a cross between a chocolate chip cookie and a biscotti. Twice baked, but maintaining a moist interior, each bite is studded with chocolate chips and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. You will not be sorry you tried it!
